Getting a literary agent can take years. Bypass this step and let me, as your literary consultant, submit your book directly to publishing houses. These will be traditional, paying publishers. If an editor selects your book, he/she/they will pay you an upfront advance and/or royalties.
**I have helped clients get contracts and responses from Big 5 publishers like Penguin Random House, S&S, Hachette, and more.**
Agents and consultants both lend credibility, with the following differences:
An agent:
· Can take years to find, takes a sales commission, guides your career, shapes your book(s)
A consultant:
· Gets you in front of publishers NOW—not years from now, charges an upfront payment but takes NO commission, does not provide personalized guidance
Each package provides a base of me choosing editors, researching submission guidelines, and editing / e-mailing your self-provided query letter and writing samples. I will use a shared Google Drive folder for tracking. (NOTE: SEE ADD-ONS FOR HELP WRITING THE QUERY LETTER AND MANAGING ALL POST-SUBMISSION CORRESPONDENCE.)
